E-Access: Suzuki’s first-ever electric scooter unveiled

Suzuki Motor Corporation has marked its entry into the electric two-wheeler market with the launch of the E-Access scooter at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in New Delhi, India.

This much-awaited e-scooter is the company’s first global strategic Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) scooter.

Designed for urban commuters, the E-Access scooter promises a smooth ride, high efficiency, and modern technology, while staying true to Suzuki's renowned performance standards.

E-Access scooter’s key features

  • A futuristic design with LED position light and stylish machined wheels
  • A 3.07 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery, providing an impressive 95 km range on a single charge
  • A 1 kW electric motor, delivering 15 Nm peak torque and a top speed of 71 mph
  • Three riding modes, regenerative braking system, and reverse mode for added convenience

The E-Access also offers practical features such as:

  • 17L under-seat storage for essentials like a helmet
  • Keyless system for hassle-free ignition and security
  • Colour TFT LCD meter with smartphone connectivity for added convenience
  • Auto-tensioner drive belt for reduced maintenance costs and enhanced durability

With the standard charger, the E-Access can be charged from 0% to 100% within 6 hours and 42 minutes. On the other hand, with the fast charger, it can be charged up to 100% in 2 hours and 12 minutes.

E-Access scooter availability

The production of the E-Access will begin in March, with sales starting in April 2025 in India. Suzuki also plans to launch this model in various international markets.
