Epic Games gives 20% back on Fortnite, Rocket League, and more

Epic Games has released a new 20% back Epic Rewards programme for every player beginning on Thursday. 

If you play Fortnite, Rocket League, or Fall Guys, you will now receive 20% of the amount you spend back when using Epic's payment system on PC, iOS, Android, or the web.

This is a significant upgrade for Fortnite, one of the most popular massively multiplayer online games where they battle, create, and fight in a fantasy world. 

With the new reward system, users receive more when they purchase stuff or upgrades from Epic's payment method directly. This 20% reward system is now in the game for good.

Epic Games also upped rewards for purchases from the Epic Games Store. Until August 31, players will earn 20% back—compared to the normal 5%—on all purchases from Epic's payment system. 

This includes third-party games offered on the Epic Games Store.

With Fortnite coming back to the iOS App Store in the US, Epic reports that players will soon notice two payment methods: Apple's in-app system and Epic's own system. 

Picking Epic's system gives players 20% back in Epic Rewards, an added incentive for them to choose that option.

You can spend your rewards on purchases in Fortnite, Rocket League, Fall Guys, or even use them to purchase new games on the Epic Games Store. The more you purchase, the more you get back.
