Square Enix has announced that Patch 7.35 of Final Fantasy 14 will launch on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, with a great deal of fresh content. One of the highlights is the long-awaited Monster Hunter Wilds crossover event, which gives players a completely new hunt and an exciting new trial.

As part of the Monster Hunter Wilds collaboration, players will finally face off against Guardian Arkveld as part of an eight-player Trial in both Normal and Extreme difficulties.

Defeating Guardian Arkveld will unlock Veldian weapons, the Hope armour set, new mounts, minions, and housing items. Despite all the exciting new content that comes with this event, players will have to take their time joining in on the hunt, as this event will be permanent.

Players will still need to finish the main scenario quest, "Dawntrail", and reach level 100 first, though!

Patch 7.35 will also launch Pilgrim's Traverse, the new deep dungeon located under King Titania's castle in the fae land of Il Mheg. Part of the challenge of the dungeon is travelling upwards through its floors while discovering the lore of the dungeon itself.

In order to unlock Pilgrim's Traverse, the player will need to have finished floor 50 of Palace of the Dead, completed the questline of "Endwalker", and have a combat job at level 91 or higher.

According to the event, the ultimate challenge faced will consist of a final boss with an optional new difficulty titled "Quantum".

Patch 7.35 introduces the last allied society quest chain with the Yok Huy for crafters, featuring daily quests, special rewards, and reputation levels. Also, fans of the comedic content of FF14 can look forward to the next chapter of the old fan-favourite Hildibrand questline, which should include even more fun adventures.

The date of October 7 is likely to be a busy day for MMO fans in general, as World of Warcraft is releasing its 11.2.5 content patch that same day too.

For FF14 players, there is now plenty to look forward to while they prepare for new battles, new stories, and new rewards in Patch 7.35.
