Fortnite has announced an exciting collaboration with Kaiju No. 8, the hit anime and manga series. This crossover brings a range of exclusive skins, pickaxes, back bling, emotes, and wraps based on the characters and world of Kaiju No. 8.
However, the new bundle is now available in the Fortnite Item Shop until February 1, 2025.
Fortnite and Kaiju No. 8 collaboration
The Kaiju No. 8 collaboration includes skins for Kafka Hibino, Reno Ichikawa, and Kikoru Shinomiya, members of Japan's Anti-Kaiju Defense Force. These characters are featured in their combat suits made from Kaiju materials, giving players a unique way to bring the anime's intense action into the game.
Additional items in the bundle include back bling like Kafka's broken Kaiju mask and Kikoru’s massive battleaxe pickaxe. Players can also unlock wraps inspired by the Kaiju No. 8 design, along with a special emote featuring the spirit of Kaiju No. 8.
Fortnite is known for its pop-culture crossovers, and anime fans have already celebrated this addition. Previous collaborations have included iconic series like Dragon Ball, Naruto, and Attack on Titan, making Fortnite a hub for anime and gaming fans alike.
Moreover, the release of this crossover aligns perfectly with the hype surrounding Kaiju No. 8's second anime season, set to debut in July 2025.
While fans are excited about the bundle, some expressed disappointment over the absence of characters like Mina Ashiro and Gen Narumi. However, there is hope that a future update could bring even more Kaiju No. 8 content to Fortnite.
