GTA 6 is creating a high anticipation in the gaming industry after the trailer 2. The game will revolutionise music handling in open-world games if a well-known music producer's recent revelations are true.

Speaking during the New Rory and Mal show, Grammy-winning music producer Jermaine Dupri surprisingly leaked that artists will be able to upload their music directly to an unspecified Grand Theft Auto game.

However, the music producer did not particularly mention Grand Theft Auto VI. There's no way this feature would get added to the fifth entry in the series so late after its release, so there's little doubt that this will be a feature in GTA 6, launching next year on consoles.

Moreover, Dupri added that the rapper Drake will have his radio station, and from his understanding, the rapper himself could upload music to the game that is not available anywhere, something that would turn Grand Theft Auto VI into a music streaming service like Spotify and the like.

Meanwhile, GTA 6 is confirmed to add several new features with advanced gameplay, providing an enhanced gaming experience.

As per leaks, it would make sense for Rockstar Games to do something like this for Grand Theft Auto VI, considering how music has always been important in every entry in the series and how the game is setting out to be the most successful game release of all time.

According to leaks, if this comes true, the in-game music addition will be available to a wide variety of artists, as nothing would beat going around the game's beautiful world with some pumping rock and metal tunes.

GTA release date

Rockstar Games confirmed that GTA 6 will be launched on May 26, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S platforms.
