Fortnite is set to introduce another high-profile partnership with Formula 1 (F1), offering a new version of the battle royale game, providing an advanced gaming experience.
The company stated that the new update — F1 Cosmetic Team Set — will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop, beginning Thursday, November 20, which will include branded Outfits, Gliders, and Pickaxes that feature bespoke team branding from all 10 F1 teams.
Players can also get F1-branded 'Back Bling', along with an 'Emote' to celebrate Victory Royales in style. F1 Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) Emily Prazer stated: "This innovative collaboration with Fortnite is yet another way Formula 1 is connecting with fans and appearing in places you wouldn’t expect it to. We’re obsessed with finding new and exciting ways to engage with our audiences that make our sport sit alongside their other passions and interests.
“In recent years, Fortnite has collaborated with some of the biggest brands, sporting celebrities and TV series in the world, so we’re thrilled this new integration will enable players to engage with our series 365 days a year and further their love of the sport.”
The partnership between two organisations will let Fortnite's millions of registered members blend their love of gaming and world-class motorsport, all set within a virtual universe as players battle it out to finish first and win a Victory Royale.
