In a remarkable move aimed at facilitating Galaxy users, Samsung is offering select Galaxy smartphone owners six months of free Google AI One Pro subscription.
At its original price, the Google AI One Pro subscription costs $19.99 per month.
The ongoing free Google AI One Pro subscription offer is available to the Galaxy S25, S25 Plus, S25 Ultra, Galaxy Z Fold 7, and Z Flip 7 users.
It's worth noting that the offer is the rebranded version of what was previously famed as AI Premium. The subscription gives access to Gemini 2.5 Pro, the filmmaking tool Flow, AI integration across Workspace apps, and 2TB of cloud storage.
To redeem the free Google AI One Pro subscription, users need to download and sign into the Google One app, which automatically displays the offer upon installation.
Existing subscribers may benefit from a payment break until February 2026, along with a partial refund for the current billing month.
Samsung's this promotional offer comes in response to Google’s recent provision of a free year of AI One Pro to Pixel 9 users.
It was also learned that the South Korean is also adding other perks for Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 owners, including two months of Adobe Lightroom, a 50% discount on LumaFusion video editing, and reductions on Arcsite and Noteshelf.
In July, Samsung offered millions of Galaxy phone and tablet users in the US a one-year subscription to Perplexity AI Pro, valued at $200.
Bear in mind that Samsung's Galaxy AI features are free until the end of 2025, however, it's not confirmed whether charges will apply after 2025.
Analysts suggest these promotions highlight the intensifying competition between Samsung and Google in the AI sector.
