Developing on the success of previous models of its indigenous text-to-image generators, Google has finally released Imagen 3 to all US users.
The tool which Google boasts as its "highest quality text-to-image model yet" was initially released for select lucky users during in-person preview sessions at its annually held Google I/O.
Not only is the tool capable of simply producing images from text prompts, but it "generates an incredible level of detail, producing photorealistic, lifelike images, with far fewer distracting visual artifacts than our prior models."

Having published a research paper to provide extensive information regarding its latest text-to-image generator, Google observed the wider rollout with the promise of a better understanding of natural language, which means that it comprehends the "intent behind your prompt and incorporates small details from longer prompts."
The tool is also excellent at rendering text on images, which "opens up possibilities for generating personalized birthday messages, title slides in presentations and more."
Citing sources, PC Mag also highlighted some discouraging factors as well, stating that some testers of the AI tool found "the censorship filter which is far more sensitive to benign words" annoying.
Taking to Reddit, a user posted "it's pretty good but I'm working harder with higher error results."
Drawing a comparison with Imagen 2, the previous iteration of the tool, another Redditor wrote: "I still think Google have the best image generation out of all the ones I've used but this Imagen 3 is a bit of a regression for me personally" against Imagen 2.
