Google plans to launch AI reasoning model: Reports

Google is reportedly gearing up to punch back with the latest artificial intelligence(AI) model to compete with its rival OpenAI. 

If you have been eyeing the AI industry, then you must be aware of the recently launched OpenAI’s o1 “strawberry” model that is made to resolve the complex queries of users with its top-notch problem-solving skills. It has an amazing capability to mimic human reasoning, and it’s no exception.

It proficiently resolves queries in the fields of maths and coding. A report from Bloomberg suggested that Alphabet-owned is also preparing a reminiscent model to OpenAI o1 that would deliver an outstanding user experience that can perform human-like reasoning.

Further reports suggested that several teams at Google are proactively working to prepare an AI reasoning model, as the Alphabet-owned Google is utilising a distinctive technique which is dubbed chain-of-thought prompting it to build the software. 

Google is marching ahead towards its goal of human-like artificial intelligence which would assist users in performing a variety of tasks including writing code and solving multistep problems.
