Google is quietly developing and testing a new feature called “Created by You” in its Gemini app, which would house all of the media and creative output from the generative AI space. This certainly would include images created in response to user requests, video outputs, deep research reports, and even code.

The “Created by You” approach gives users the opportunity to organise and manage their creative outputs all in one space instead of needing to scroll through lengthy chat history.

Notably, the announcement comes on the heels of an increasing amount of content generated in the last couple of months, including everything from the viral Studio Ghibli-style art trend to experiments such as Nano Banana.

With this new feature, Gemini users will have an organised way of tracking, revisiting, and reusing their previous creative work.

Moreover, the "Created by You" feature is also similar in functionality to the ChatGPT Library, whereby users are able to easily find previously AI-generated media.

In a recent testing of the beta version (16.35.63) of the Google app, the "Created by You" option was found just below the "New Chat" button in the menu of the Gemini app.

However, this new feature is not live for everyone yet at this stage in the rollout, for users that are testing it, it can be "activated" and shows a gallery-like interface of all of the users' Gemini creations.
