HoYoverse, the company behind global hits Genshin Impact and Honkai: Star Rail, has officially announced its next major title, Honkai: Nexus Anima.
Excitingly, HoYoverse has now opened up pre-registration for the first closed beta test of the game. Fans of HoYoverse now have an early chance to dive into this new title!
Honkai: Nexus Anima
Honkai: Nexus Anima is a creature collection autochess gacha game set in the Honkai: Star Rail universe. Players will have the ability to collect, summon, and battle with actual creatures called "Anima".
The game is a blend of auto-battler and strategy similar to Teamfight Tactics but with the anime-style visuals and narrative that HoYoverse is known for.
Alongside the announcement was a new gameplay trailer featuring open-world exploration, customisation of the player's character, and mini-game-style elements such as Anima battles and exploration – all of which excited fans even more.
Honkai: Nexus Anima beta availability
Recruitment for the first closed beta, or "Nexus Bond Test", will take place before September 12. Those interested in preregistering will need to apply on the official website by creating a HoYoverse account and then filling out a short questionnaire.
While there is no official time frame for the beta yet, HoYoverse has stated that players will be able to share gameplay footage without restriction after the beta opens.
The closed beta will only be available on PC and iOS devices. Recommended PC specs include an Intel i5 11th Gen processor, RTX 2060 GPU, and 16 GB of RAM. On iOS, the game will require at least an iPhone 12 Pro. The test will also support cross-platform play, though account sharing is not allowed. After the beta ends, all player data will be wiped.
