Honor, a Chinese tech manufacturer, recently stepped into the landscape of artificial intelligence (AI), expanding the company’s ecosystem at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Shanghai by revealing two new on-device AI-based innovations known as AI Defocus Eye Protection and AI Deepfake Detection.
Honor’s recent innovation would certainly assist individuals suffering from Myopia (nearsightedness) which is caused by the result of long-term screen usage.
This exceptional technology would utilise AI in imitating the defocus glasses on the device’s screen, as glasses activate the manipulated defocuses in glasses for enhanced vision capability.

Whereas, according to the technology brand, AI Deepfake Detection is an exceptional innovation which has seamlessly assisted in avoiding fraud and detecting controlled content, which would be possible by inspecting frame-by-frame created content including image clarity, lighting, and more to recognise cons invisible to the naked eyes.
The company further added, that this technology has been trained via an enormous amount of pictures and videos associated with digital frauds, which have become extremely common nowadays, AI is here for user rescue which would identify, screen and detect rapidly.
In case AI detects any kind of controlled content which is likely to bring negative consequences, a risk warning automatically pops on the user’s screen, warning them to stop being involved with scams.
