No wonder that Samsung had grabbed the attention of the entire high-end technological sphere with the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 at the Galaxy Unpacked 2024, but Honor, a relatively less popular contender in the smartphone arena, appears to surpass the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the impending launch of the Honor Magic V3.
As reported by Android Central, Honor Magic V3 is ingrained with a message, an "apology" to be more specific, over the hood, flaunting the competitive edge it has garnered.
The smartphone maker claims that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 stands nowhere close to the yet-to-release Magic V3, which promises to be the thinnest and most durable clamshell phone on the market.
Honor Magic V2 specs
Compared with the 5.6mm thin (unfolded) Galaxy Z Fold 6 which measures 12.1mm when folded, the upcoming Magic V3 is way beyond with only 4.35mm when unfolded and 9.2mm when folded.
The Chinese mobile maker is reported to have hired micro-artist Graham Short to inscribe a tiny "world's smallest apology" on the hinge of a special-edition Magic V3.
The company also nodded in affirmation to admit that the message is so tiny that it requires a microscope to read it.
While Honor's cheeky jab comes to Samsung as that of latter's to Apple, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 stands so far as an incredibly powerful device which proved a trend-setter for modern-day foldable phones.
When will Honor Magic V2 launch?
The Honor Magic V3 will be launched on September 5 around the world, however, chances are slim as certainty for US users will be able to lay their hands on it.
