How to change age on B-Form online: Easy guide

If you're seeking ways to change your incorrect date of birth on B-Form (known as Child Registration Certificate (CRC), then the National Database and Registration Authority offers you a facility to increase or decrease the date of birth on the B-Form.

Incorrect date of birth on a child’s B-Form can cause serious issues later, especially when applying for a CNIC, passport, or school admission.

Nadra now allows parents and guardians to change age on B-Form online through the Pak-ID mobile app, eliminating the need for standing in long queues at nearest centre.

The authority stated that if your child's B-form was issued based on a computerised birth certificate, then parents are required to have the date of birth corrected by the relevant Union Council (UC). Once the correction is made, the updated information can be used to amend the B-Form.

Documents required for date of birth correction on B-Form?

• Affidavit for the incorrect DOB.
• Valid supporting documents such as an original birth certificate or school record, and potentially a magistrate's approval for significant discrepancies, as it's treated as correcting an error, not just updating a field.
• CNICs of parents.

Here's how you can apply for B-Form via Pak-ID app

• Open Pak-ID mobile application on your smartphone.
• If you're new user, then create a account or existing users need to log in on the platform.
• Tap on ''Apply Now' and select 'Issuance of Identity Document'.
• Choose 'Identity Card', then tap 'CRC)'.
• Enter the 13-digit Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC) number and start the application.
• Review the prefilled information and select processing priority.
• Upload the child’s photograph and provide a digital signature.
• Enter the child’s details and upload the required documents.
• Verify the fingerprints of one parent.
• Review and submit the application.

After you apply, Nadra will take necessary action on your request. If the request is approved, then the 'Pay Now' option will appear on the right side of your tracking ID. 'Click on the option'.
