If you have turned 18 or above and are seeking ways to get your first Computerised National Identity Card (CNIC), then the National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) has announced that citizens can apply through the Pak-ID mobile application, making the initial stage of the process more convenient.
The government has introduced a major facilitation measure, letting citizens receive their first CNIC for free within 15 days.
The authority stated: "Through the Nadra Pak-ID app, you can apply for a fresh CNIC on the basis of either a computerised birth certificate or a B-Form through one of the parents’ Pak-ID accounts.”
