Apple is reportedly launching the highly anticipated iPhone 17 series at the “Awe Dropping” event on September 9, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max as the main event.
Not known for holding back on cell technology, it seems that Apple will make big waves with performance, camera, and design enhancements once again.
iPhone 17 Pro Max specifications
The 17 Pro Max is said to feature Apple’s newest A19 Pro chip, providing a considerable leap in the amount of CPU, GPU, and NPU power over the 16 Pro Max, which promises to provide improved usage in gaming, multitasking, and AI functions, thus elevating smartphone performance benchmarks.
For photography purists, this model might have plenty to like. Rumours are circulating about the new model featuring a tweaked camera system, including a 48MP telephoto lens with 8x zoom and an upgraded 12MP selfie camera to 24MP.
This is all aimed at making the Pro Max one of the stronger mobile photography options, especially for users that use their phone for content creation.
Apple is also rumoured to make relatively dramatic design changes, featuring a larger camera section and new orange and dark blue colourway finishes. These enhancements likely attract some consumers.

As for pricing, the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB model is expected to start at $1,249, keeping it firmly in the premium smartphone bracket.
