Samsung has launched the Galaxy A07, in the same entry-level series as the Galaxy A17 5G, just days after the release of the A17. Released in Indonesia, the phone offers several important upgrades over its predecessor and is easily the most spec-heavy phone in Samsung's budget tier.
The Galaxy A07 will be the first time the world's cheapest phone packs the MediaTek Helio G99 chip card, offering a sizable boost in CPU and GPU performance.
Interestingly, the Galaxy A07 is guaranteed six years of support in OS and security updates, meaning that it will arrive on Android 15 with One UI 7 out of the box.

The A07 will also have an improved display, now offering a 6.7-inch PLS display with HD+ resolution and a 90 Hz refresh rate coupled with improved touch response.
New to the line is an IP54 score for dust and water resistance, which was not available on other models. With storage options up to 8GB RAM and 256GB (plus microSD support to 1TB) and a 3.5mm headphone jack, the A07 is very full-featured.
Powering the A07 is a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Other essentials include dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
In terms of cameras, the Galaxy A07 has the same setup as last year's model: a 50MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP front-facing camera. Video recording is limited to 1080p at 30FPS, like its predecessor.
Samsung Galaxy A07 price
The phone comes in green, light violet, and black, with a price of around $86 (Rs24,000) for the 4GB/64GB model in Indonesia. Other parts of the world, including Pakistan, will see varying prices based on taxes and duties.
