Reliance Jio has been on an aggressive drive recently, bundling three new prepaid recharge plans with OTT (over-the-top) platforms, this comes along with the Bharat ji 4G, a budget 4G smartphone.
As Jio raised prices in July, this could be an effort towards filling that vacuum by offering access to popular streaming services and providing data and calling benefits.
Here's a rundown of the new plans:
- Rs 1,049 Plan: Offers 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and a complimentary subscription to the Zee5-SonyLiv combo, valid for 84 days.
- Rs 949 Plan: Provides 2GB of data per day, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and a complimentary subscription to Disney+ Hotstar, valid for 84 days.
- Rs 329 Plan: Includes 1.5GB of data per day, unlimited voice calling, 100 SMS per day, and a complimentary subscription to JioSaavn Pro, valid for 28 days.
All three plans also include subscriptions to JioTV, JioCinema, and JioCloud.
The Jio Bharat 5G builds on the existing line of Jio Bharat Ji phones. The feature phone priced at INR.1,7990 comes in grey and black and is up for grabs at e-commerce sites like Amazon.
