Petrol price in Pakistan remains unchanged at Rs252.10 per litre for next fortnight

The federal government on Sunday kept the price of petrol unchanged, Rs252.10 per litre. 

On the other hand, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) has decreased by Rs3.05 per litre to Rs 255.38, according to the official notification released by the Finance Division.

The updated prices of all petroleum products are effective from midnight today (December 16).

In the previous fortnightly review, the government had raised the petrol price per litre by Rs 3.72, taking the price to Rs252.10 in Pakistan.

"The Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has worked out the consumer prices, based on the price variations in the international market," the statement issued by the Finance Division.

Notably, the prices of petroleum products are revised every 15 days in Pakistan adjusting them to the trend of global oil prices and the rupee’s exchange rate to the dollar.
