The countdown has begun for one of MG Pakistan’s biggest launches of 2025, as the company prepares to reveal the official MG U9 Pickup Truck price on December 4.
The announcement comes ahead of its January debut, adding to the momentum at the Pakistan Auto Show (PAPS) 2025.
MG U9 Pickup Truck features
Designed for strength and versatility, the MG U9 comes fitted with a 2.5L turbo diesel making 215 hp and 520 Nm of torque, coupled with a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission.
According to MG, the pickup is engineered to deliver seamless performance on both city roads and rugged landscapes.
In addition, there is a 4×4 drivetrain, differential locks at both front and rear ends, and an incredible 3,500 kg towing capacity for off-road capability.
The U9 features 220mm ground clearance, meaning it is well-equipped to take on various challenging terrains with ease, a key highlight for the adventure- and utility-focused drivers of Pakistan.
Measuring 5500 mm in length, 2265 mm in width, and 1874 mm in height, the U9 rides on a wheelbase of 3300 mm.
Further, 20-inch alloy wheels add to its imposing structure on the roads. Inside, MG has focused on premium comfort. The driver gets an 8-way powered seat with lumbar support, heating, ventilation, and even a massage function, a rare luxury in the pickup segment.
The passenger seat offers 6-way electric adjustment, while rear seats come with heating and dedicated AC vents.
A 12.3-inch touchscreen, JBL 8-speaker system, and wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto elevate the cabin experience.
Moreover, the safety is backed by seven airbags, L2-level ADAS, a 540-degree camera, and Driver Attention Monitoring. Convenience features include a panoramic sunroof, electric tailgate, wireless charger, and rain-sensing wipers.
