Allegedly succeeding its predecessor, the device seems to incorporate minor design alterations. Leaks suggest the upcoming mid-range phone might sport a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 50-megapixel main camera, accompanied by a 6.5-inch display boasting a 90Hz refresh rate, and a robust 5,000mAh battery.
Renowned tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer (@onleaks) in partnership with Smartmania disclosed key insights about the Moto G Play (2024). Anticipated to debut next month, the smartphone is rumoured to retail at $169.

Leaked renders showcase the Motorola device in a sapphire blue hue, featuring a hole-punch cutout on the display for the selfie camera. The rear panel exhibits a triple camera system aligned in the upper left corner, accompanied by an LED flash. Additionally, the left edge appears to house the power and volume buttons, with the volume button potentially doubling as a fingerprint scanner. Furthermore, the renders indicate a 3.5mm headphone jack positioned at the top.
According to the leaks, the Moto G Play (2024) will operate on Android 13 and is expected to incorporate a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1,080x2,200) LCD screen equipped with a 90Hz refresh rate. Powered by a Qualcomm chipset and housing 4GB of RAM alongside 64GB of internal storage, it marks a potential shift from its 2023 predecessor, which operated on a 12nm MediaTek Helio G37 chip.
Reportedly, the phone's triple rear camera configuration might consist of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by an 8-megapixel front-facing sensor. Keeping in line with its predecessor, the Moto G Play (2024) is anticipated to pack a robust 5,000mAh battery.
