
Realme, a Chinese tech giant, released its smartphone, Realme GT Neo 5, last year with up to 240W fast charging support. The fast-charging technology is confirmed to charge the battery from zero to 100% in less than 10 minutes.
The company expected to increase the price with the new charging technology. A senior Realme executive claimed that the company is developing 300W charging technology for forthcoming smartphones. The company’s major competitor Xiaomi already displayed its 300W technology last year.
CEO Realme Europe Francis Wong said that the company is checking 300W charging. The current move will assist the company to compete with Xiaomi.

Realme provides 240W charging in the Realme GT Neo 5, which is confirmed to charge the 4,600 mAh battery from zero to 20% in 80 seconds, zero to 50% in four minutes, and zero to 100% in less than 10 minutes.
A charging time of 30 seconds is acclaimed to provide two hours of talk time. The Realme GT Neo 5 was launched with a base price tag of CNY 3,199 (approximately INR 39,000).
It supports a 6.74-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 144Hz and is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC. A triple rear camera setup can be spotted, having a 50 MP primary sensor, and a 16 MP selfie shooter.
Moreover, up to 1TB of storage are the other specifications of the phone. iQoo 11S (200W), Infinix Zero Ultra 5G (180W), and Realme GT Neo 3 (150W) are some of the fastest-charging phones available in the market currently. However, forthcoming Realme and Redmi (or Xiaomi) phones could soon outmatch these charging speeds.
