Motorola unveiled its new smartphone, Motorola Edge 50 Ultra, globally this year, along with Motorola Edge 50 Fusion in India. The top-of-the-line Ultra model has been checked to be released soon in India.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC. It boasts a 4.50 mAh with the support of both wired and wireless fast charging.

Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the company uploaded a video of the handset with the “coming soon” tag. The picture displays a hollowed-out rear panel and the camera unit placements claimed that it’s the Motola Edged 50 Ultraa, specifically its Nordic Wood variant.

Motorola Edge 50 Ultra specifications

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra feature a 6.7-inch 144Hz full-HD+OLED screen. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM. The smartphone runs on Android 14-based Hello UI.

For optics, the Motorola Edge 50 Ultra is equipped with a triple rear camera setup, having a 50 MP primary rear sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS) support, another 50mMP sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64 MP telephoto shooter with up to 3x optical zoom. The front camera boasts a 50 MP sensor.

The Motorola Edge 50 Ultra boast a 4,500mAh battery with support for 125W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. Connectivity options include dual 5G, 4G, Wi-Fi, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, Beidou, NavIC, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, and a USB Type-C port. It carries an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
