The Lenovo-owned Motorola launched its new Moto G-series smartphone — Moto G45 5G in India on Wednesday. It will be available on the company's official website, Flipkart, and select retail stores from August 28.
Price of Moto G45 5G in India
The Moto G45 5G is available in India at INR 10,999 for the base 4GB RAM with 128GB storage variant. The top-end model of 8GB RAM with 128GB storage costs INR 12,999.
As an introductory offer, buyers can get an instant bank discount of INR 1,000 while buying the Moto G45 5G using Axis Bank, Infrastructure Development Finance Company (IDFC) First bank credit card, and credit card Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) Transactions.
This will bring down the effective price to INR 9,999 for the base variant. This offer will be valid till September 10. Further, buyers can get Reliance Jio-based offers.

Version
The Moto G45 5g version runs on Android 14 with an ensured update to Android 15 and three years of security updates.
Display
The newly launched Moto G-series smartphone sports a 6.5-inch HD+ (720 x 1,600 pixels) hole punch LCD with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 20:9 aspect ratio. The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and 269ppi pixel density.

Processor
The handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 chipset along with up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The RAM can be virtually extended up to 16GB with unused storage.
Camera
The Moto G45 5G flaunts a dual rear camera setup, having a 50MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture with a single LED flash. On the front, the handset has a 16MP camera for selfies and video chats.
Connectivity options
Connectivity options on the Moto G45 5G involve Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, LTEPP, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port. It has an IP52-rated water-repellent build.
Sensors
The Moto G45 5G sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, e-compass, gyroscope, proximity, sensor hub, and SAR sensor. The phone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometric authentication. It supports a face unlock feature and carries stereo speakers supported by Dolby Atmos technology.
Battery, weight, and colour options
The Moto G45 5G boasts a 5,000mAh battery supporting 20W wired fast charging. The smartphone measures 162.7x74.64x8.0mm and weighs around 183g.
It is available in three colourways — Brilliant Blue, Green, and Viva Magenta.
