Xiaomi Mix Flip confirmed to launch: A Galaxy Z Flip 6 rival coming on July 19

There's been a whirlwind of hype around the class-leading foldable phone launched at the Galaxy Unpacked event held last week. 

Now when the hysteria surrounding the entire Galaxy product lineup, another proficient opponent in the smartphone market appears gearing up to launch a clamshell phone. 

Xiaomi Mix Flip release date

Xiaomi is going to launch the Xiaomi Mix Flip, its first clamshell foldable phone, this coming Friday on July 19 in a full-fledged manner. The phone will be equipped with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Stirring up the foldable smartphone realm, Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun shared a teaser on X (formerly Twitter) for the company's upcoming phone.

Among all the key specifications and features of the Xiaomi Mix Flip, the teaser reflected in great detail various angles of the Mix Flip.

Given the teaser, the clamshell handset is confirmed to feature a 4-inch front screen, taking up most of the front of the screen.

While its 4,780mAh battery ensures that users get an unbothered powered experience, the Mix Flip's visual appeal is adorned by far slimmer bezels than the Galaxy Z Flip 6 phone.
