The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra), in partnership with Sindh government, on Tuesday launched a verification facility for the buying and selling of registered vehicles in the province.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), the authority stated: "Biometric verification facility for buying and selling Sindh registered vehicles now available on Pak-ID mobile app. Get biometric verification done at home and complete further transfer process at the respective provincial departments."
Nadra, in a statement, stated that citizens can visit the official website or contact their helpline by dialing 1777 for further information or any guidance.
Last week, the authority launched a pilot project to offer CNIC reprints for lost cards and CNIC renewal services through selected e-Sahulat franchises.
The initiative, approved by the Authority Board in accordance with the provisions of the NADRA Ordinance 2000 and the NADRA Regulations 2002, has been initiated at 18 franchises of e-Sahulat in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Lahore, and Karachi, and will offer the remaining services at the standard rates of Nadra, besides an extra fee of Rs100 payable for the services provided by e-Sahulat.
