The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has officially announced a special facility for Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.
According to the press release, NADRA mobile registration will be available in Saudi Arabia’s Dammam city on September 26 and 27, 2025.
NADRA aims to provide digital services and access to the masses, living in Pakistan or other countries. Overseas Pakistanis can easily benefit from the services between 8am and 3pm, local time.
To note, services include new Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP), Smart NICOP re-print, duplicate (DUP) clearance, NICOP change into Smart NICOP, cancellation of NICOP and Smart NICOP and Functional Residual Capacity (FRC).
Previously, the database authority updated its Pak-ID app with a new feature, allowing citizens to register births and deaths.
This development improves record-keeping by making it more convenient, accurate and accessible, specifically for those in remote or disaster-affected areas.
This new feature marks a significant step in the simplification of fundamental administrative processes for all citizens, said NADRA.
It is worth noting that the database regulatory body has also enabled a digital payment feature through QR codes.
At the time of application submission, people can obtain a QR code from NADRA staff, scan it using their mobile banking application, and pay the fee online instantly without any additional charges.
