Netflix has introduced a convenient new feature for iPhone and iPad users, allowing them to download the entire seasons of their favourite TV show with just one tap.

This announcement comes on the heels of the streaming service reporting a record-breaking 19 million new subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2024, achieving 302 million paid subscribers worldwide. Previously, this feature was exclusive to Android users.

Download your favourite Netflix season with one tap

The "Season Download" button is now accessible in the Netflix app, situated next to the "Share" button on a show's display page. By selecting this option, users can quickly download all episodes from a chosen season of their favourite TV series.

Users must bear in mind that the entire downloaded season will be available in the "Downloads" section under the "My Netflix" tab.

This new feature is particularly significant for travellers and individuals who often face limited or no internet access issues.

Previously, iOS users were only able to download one episode at a time, making the process time-consuming. Now, users can download longer shows, such as "The Blacklist," which comprises 22 episodes per season.

It’s worth noting that Netflix first introduced offline viewing in 2016 and since then has added features to enhance the downloading experience.
