X (formerly Twitter) grappled with an outage in US, users engaged on X experienced a disruption after it was on backup on Saturday (September 7) that continued for less than an hour.
DownDetector, a web outage tracking site, reported an exponential surge by collecting reports from different sources and users.

In the United States, over 164 issues were reported at around 11:01am ET (1501 GMT), while it reported 82,000 reports at the peak of the outage at around 10:31am ET.
Moreover, it’s an unidentified outage as X has not immediately addressed the issue.
