WhatsApp has long introduced the Meta AI assistant for its Android and iOS versions and is now reportedly testing a similar feature for business accounts to enhance the user experience for business customers.

Recently, the instant messaging platform introduced two indicators within the business chat, aiming to make the process more transparent when businesses use Meta services like ads on Facebook and Instagram.

The feature was spotted in the WhatsApp Android beta 2.24.19.16 version available to some beta testers through the Google Play Beta Programme, revealing the Meta AI assistant for the business app version.

Meta AI assistant for WhatsApp business accounts

This new Meta AI chatbot for WhatsApp Business aims to provide business users with 24/7 assistance by answering their queries without limitations. Users can learn new business skills with Meta AI.

Moreover, the integration of Meta AI assistant will ensure that users’ work remains organised and make them focus on other tasks. It will also enable users to create unique content and images for their business catalogues and to update their profiles.

It's essential to note that the Meta AI assistant will help business users attract new customers and strengthen their existing bonds with old ones. It will also improve customer satisfaction and boost their sales.

Currently, the feature is in the testing phase and is available in select countries. WhatsApp is likely to make it available to the general public via a stable release over the coming weeks.
