Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e (Pack 2 and Pack 3)
Mahindra BE 6 & XEV 9e (Pack 2 and Pack 3) — High-performance electric SUVs — are set to be unveiled at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show in January.
These revolutionary variants are packed with several innovative features including 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs powered by BYD’s blade cell technology.
The 59kWh variant offers 228bhp and an ARAI-certified range of 556km, while the 79kWh variant delivers 281bhp and a range of 628km. Both come with Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) systems and are integrated with advanced features.
Hyundai Creta EV
The flagship Hyundai Creta EV will officially launch at the Bharat Mobility Show and go on sale in India on January 17 2025. Set to outdo the Tata Curvv EV and MG ZS EV, it combines familiar Creta styling with modern electric technology.
Tata Harrier EV
The Tata Harrier EV will be the first product released from the native automobile manufacturer in 2025 in India.
Built for flexibility, its architecture supports Rear Wheel Drive (RWD), and All Wheel Drive (AWD). It is powered by a 60kWh battery pack and features a dual electric motor setup offering a 500km range.
The company has confirmed that the upcoming Tata Harrier EV will support 11kW AC and DC fast charging of up to 150kW threshold, offering both high performance and convenience.
Kia Syros
Revealed on December 19, the Kia Syros subcompact SUV will have its prices announced at the Bharat Mobility Show. The Syros stands out with premium features to captivate more discriminating customers.
It's a revolutionary leap in SUV design that includes a 30-inch panoramic dual-screen configuration featuring a touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The exterior design includes a muscular profile with vertical LED daytime running lights and a robust front bumper, making it a visually compelling option.
Mercedes G 580 (G-Class EV) and 5-Seater EQS
Mercedes-Benz is set to unveil its highly anticipated two electric SUVs – the EQS 450 and G 580 – on January 9, 2025. The EQS variant will feature a 122kWh battery offering 44bhp and 858Nm power.
It will be India’s first EV with massive batteries that can be charged from 10 to 80% in 31 minutes using a 200kW DC charger.
In addition, it will consist of an enlarged 56-inch Hyperscreen setup (a 17.7-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a 12.3-inch instrument cluster), twin 11.6-inch rear entertainment screens, a 15-speaker Burmester audio system for acoustic music experience, and more.
The Mercedes G 580 will house a 116kWh battery pack and four electric motors powering each wheel. It is purported to accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in less than 5 seconds.
Its battery is claimed to be charged through a fast charger at speeds of up to 200kW, delivering 470km range on a single charge. The G 580 is designed to deliver outstanding performance and efficiency.
