After months of speculation, Nintendo has officially released a teaser for the highly anticipated Switch 2. The teaser showcases significant changes to the console's design, revealing key updates and improvements for the next-gen gaming console.

Nintendo Switch 2 is now confirmed to feature a spacious screen, redesigned magnetic Joy-Con controllers, new buttons, an adjustable kickstand, and a larger display. Due to the redesigned Joy-Cons, the issue of stick drift is likely to be addressed.

In addition, Nintendo has also announced the latest Mario Kart game, which is expected to launch alongside the forthcoming hybrid console. Like its predecessor, the Switch 2 will likely support both handheld play and docked mode.

Another major update was the confirmation of backwards compatibility for both digital and physical Nintendo Switch games. A dedicated Nintendo Direct stream for this console is scheduled for April 2, with several Nintendo Switch 2 Experience events taking place worldwide. These events will start on April 4 and continue until June 1.
