Nothing is expected to release its new smartphone: Nothing Phone (3) this year, along with the AI-powered abilities through software upgrade in 2025.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter), Nothing CEO Carl Pei stated: “Smartphones will remain the main consumer AI form factor for the foreseeable future. With over four billion users and over one billion smartphones shipped every year — the numbers speak for themselves".
Moreover, Pei said: “We’ve (Nothing) been designing and prototyping AI interactions.” AI is profoundly integrated with the OS (operating system) on the forthcoming Nothing Phone (3) to offer a specific UX (user experience). In addition, the reimagination of the home screen, and a highly specific AI companion.
Moreover, the firm uploaded a teaser of its integrated AI chatbot, which is claimed to be fluid and multimodal. The firm’s forthcoming mobile phone is set to integrate with “hardware and AI in a way that is both useful and brings a smile to people’s faces,” Pei claimed.
The increased AI devices like Humane AI Pin, and Rabbit R1, are silently a disaster due to their software and feature restrictions. Pei also compared the forthcoming offer from the firm with Nintendo with Microsoft and Sony. He said that Nintendo products are made for a human and fun experience.
The company’s target is to be more relatable as Nintendo “to make tech fun and personalised.”
