In a bold move from a British electronics manufacturer, an all-new affordable series of mobile phones have been launched with never-before-seen designs to challenge the dominance of Apple and Samsung.
If you didn't get it, let's announce in a straightforward way that Nothing has launched the Phone 3a and Phone 3a Pro, the two variants of Nothing's latest series of flagship smartphones, offering a spate of top-notch features at reasonable price tags.
Nothing Phone 3a specs, design
Nothing Phone 3a starts at £329 ($414), adorned with a unique design, coupled with distinctive shapes and Glyph lights at its rear. Users can make these Glyph lights blink when customised notifications knock.
Nothing Phone 3a Pro, the top-tier model of the range, comes in at a slightly costly price tag of £449, which gets a big round of validation from an enhanced camera setup comprising a 50MP triple-lens alongside optical image stabilisation.
It's worth mentioning that despite the pricing difference, the entire Nothing Phone 3a series is equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, bidding farewell to the MediaTek chipset used in most previous Nothing phone models.
On top of a unique, bold design approach, the Nothing Phone 3a series also takes a massive leap into gaming. A 4,500 mm² vapor chamber for cooling and a RAM Booster for up to 20GB of memory have been integrated into the phone.
OnePlus CEO and co-founder Carl Pei believes that OnePlus takes a departure from the "sea of smartphone sameness".
A nod to these remarks comes as Nothing has risen to popularity worldwide in a very short period, registering a 557% year-over-year growth only in India in 2024.
