Samsung Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition launched in South Korea
Samsung has unveiled the highly anticipated Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition, which is a substantially refined variant of its foldable phone, boasting a sleek and slimmer design with an enlarged 8.0-inch inner display and certainly a well-nurtured photography beast featuring a 200MP camera, and other top-notch features.
It is priced at around $2,000 and is currently available only in China, which could be expanded to China in the near future.
Vivo V40e 5G launched in Pakistan
The Vivo V40e 5G, a long-awaited phone finally launched in Pakistan on October 26 with a plethora of compelling features including a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor, boasting a 6.77-inch 120Hz FHD+ display, packed with a 5,500mAh battery with 80W charging, a 50MP optical image stabilisation (OIS) rear camera, and artificial intelligence (AI) features. Vivo V40e 5G is available only for Rs99,999 in Pakistan: preorders are currently open ahead of the November 2 sale.
Infinix Hot 50 Pro and Pro Plus released in Pakistan
Infinix launched the Hot 50 Pro and Pro Plus in Pakistan, with an enlarged 6.78-inch AMOLED 120Hz display, equipped with a 5,000mAh battery with a 33W threshold that fosters enhanced charging and Helio G100 chipset. It houses a 50MP camera priced at Rs57,999 in Pakistan, while the Infinix Hot 50 Pro costs Rs44,999.
Oppo Find X8 series unveiled in China
Oppo recently lifted a veil off of its flagship Find X8 and X8 Pro in China, featuring an enlarged 6.59- and 6.78-inch OLED displays. Interestingly, Hasselblad-partnered 50MP cameras in both models make it an ideal fit for all photography enthusiasts. The Oppo Find X8 costs CNY 4,199 while the Find X8 Pro is priced at CNY 5,299, delivery will start on October 30.
Xiaomi 15 series launch date confirmed
Xiaomi recently confirmed the launch of its highly anticipated Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro at an event on October 29 in China, with the newly launched flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, boasting a micro-curved screen, along with a Leica triple-camera setup.
The event further launched the HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, alongside the SU7 Ultra, Pad 7 series, and Band 9 Pro.
Infinix Hot 50 Pro launched globally
Infinix unveiled another flagship Hot 50 Pro model globally on October 23. It features an enlarged 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz display, equipped with a MediaTek Helio G100 processor, packed with 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage (expandable to 2TB).
Infinix Hot 50 Pro runs on a 50MP dual rear camera, houses a 5,000mAh battery with a 33W threshold, and more.
Huawei Nova 13 series launched in China
Huawei released the Nova 13 series including two flagship models in China, packed with several striking features including an enlarged 6.7-inch OLED 120Hz display, a Kirin 8000 chipset, and a HarmonyOS 4.2. The Nova 13 Pro comes with a 60MP front camera and a 50MP variable aperture lens.
Both the high-end models feature 100W fast charging and cutting-edge AI-powered photo advancements, starting with a price of 2699 yuan.
Samsung likely to launch trifold smartphone by 2025
Samsung is currently gearing up to release a tri-fold smartphone by 2025 to outdo its competitors including Huawei, which recently unveiled the Mate XT Ultimate Edition. The device is likely to feature a clamshell design and other compelling features.

OnePlus is all set to unveil the OnePlus 13 in China on October 31, with a few innovative features including the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, a 6.82-inch 2K 120Hz OLED display, a 6,000mAh battery, packed with 6,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, and a distinctive camera setup.
