The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has announced a nominal increase in the price of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) in Pakistan.
This adjustment reflects current market trends and aims to ensure the sustainability of the LPG industry.
According to the notification, an 11.8 kg LPG cylinder will now be available for Rs3,079, following a nominal increase of Rs1.32 for domestic use.
It is important to note that OGRA had previously raised LPG prices by Rs7 per kg in September.
The new price, effective from December 1, is set at Rs254.30 per kg.
The updated prices will apply to all LPG consumers in Pakistan. However, the price increase is expected to have a minimal impact on the overall inflation rate, as LPG is not a widely used fuel source in the country.
