Omoda and Jaecoo announces Jaecoo J7 Plug-in Hybrid in Pakistan

Omoda and Jaecoo Pakistan have officially revealed the launch and booking dates for the highly anticipated Jaecoo J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV).

According to the company’s latest announcement, bookings for the Jaecoo J7 SHS (Super Hybrid System) are scheduled to open on October 22, 2025, generating excitement among SUV enthusiasts and environmentally conscious drivers.

Jaecoo J7 PHEV features

The Jaecoo J7 PHEV is a response to the rising interest in hybrid SUVs in the Pakistan market, merging exciting power, innovation, and fuel economy.

It is equipped with a 1.5T DGI hybrid engine with an electric motor, producing 341 bhp and 525 Nm of torque. Additionally, the SUV has a bus-type 90 km range of EV driving, suited for urban commutes, yet boasts a total driving range of around 1200 km, reducing fill-up frequency.

Inside, the J7 PHEV offers a combination of luxury and technology features, including a panoramic glass sunroof, luxury leather seats, and a reasonable 14.8-inch touchscreen interface.

Safety features include several advanced safety systems such as adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, and automatic emergency braking. The advent of the Jaecoo J7 PHEV shows Pakistan's gradual transition to hybrid and electric vehicles, due to rising fuel costs and an environmental focus.

Jaecoo J7 PHEV price in Pakistan 

While no official pricing has been announced, the rumours suggest that the J7 PHEV price in Pakistan could potentially disrupt the premium hybrid SUV segment in the marketplace with the price around Rs13,580,119.
