
OnePlus introduced a new software update to the OnePlus 9RT users called OxygenOS 14.0.0.710, bringing several changes to the user interface.
The Chinese tech giant has been steadily upgrading its eligible devices, improving user experience, and fixing issues, therefore, released the Android 2024 security patch alongside other bug fixes and improvements to the flagship.
The OxygenOS software update includes an enhanced battery life, improved screenshot functionality and, more.

Here’s what’s new in OxygenOS update
The latest update addresses an issue that caused delayed swipe response in Simple mode and improves the experience of scrolling down on the screen with three fingers to take a screenshot.
It supports the August 2024 Android security patch to enhance system security and optimises power consumption to extend the phone’s battery life.
Moreover, it fixes an issue where the camera might not be launched by double pressing either volume button and also fixes an issue where Auto brightness might turn on automatically.
How to update OnePlus 9RT
For updating your phone,
- Go to the Settings
- Scroll down and click on “About Device”
- Now, tap on the blue ribbon at the top. If your device supports the latest update, it will appear there.
- Tap to download the update.
As OnePlus releases these updates in batches, some devices will receive it first, with a wider deployment following in a few days.
