Just over a week after its startling launch at the Made by Google event on August 13, Google's latest Pixel 9 series started going into users' hands.

Pixel 9 camera tilt issue

To the dismay of the search giant who's eyeing record sales through its new Pixel series, some Pixel 9 Pro XL owners are reporting a camera tilt fault.

Although it's very unlikely to encounter issues of this gravity in brand-new smartphones, especially from a tech giant like Google, the camera tilt problem poses a great threat to Google in terms of sales and reputation.

The Pixel 9 Pro XL issue has become both the talk of town and the talk of Reddit, involving a problem with the telephoto lens of the top-tier Pixel 9 variant.

A Pixel 9 user on Reddit mentioned a “disturbing tilt” while recording videos. He claimed that the camera problem was spotted while switching from 2x zoom to 5x zoom.

The video containing the proof a camera defect was also shared by the Redditor with Android Authority.

Another Pixel 9 Pro XL user complained that the tilt issue has also gripped the ultrawide lens, while another noted that he caught it with both the telephoto and ultrawide lenses.
