In a move that has sparked a lot of interest among tech enthusiasts, Google has revealed its upcoming flagship device, the Pixel 10, through a short video clip released on the Google Store homepage.

The full unveiling is expected to take place during the “Made by Google” event scheduled for August 20 in New York City, US

The teaser reveals the rear of the device, which includes the recognisable oval-shaped camera bar, flash, and sensor that defines the Pixel series.

However, the Pixel 10's design seems to be a bit different from its predecessor, featuring an island-shaped camera bar instead of the edge-to-edge style present on the earlier models.

Rumoured upgrades include a switch to TSMC for the production of the new Tensor 5 chip, which will use a 3nm process, replacing Samsung as the manufacturer.

With a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold's screen will noticeably brighten, making it easier to see in bright areas.

Moreover, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold will have a slightly bigger 5,015 mAh battery that is 7% bigger than the foldable model from last year. As a result, users will have more energy to enjoy their device all day long.

Running Android 16, the device will be shipped with a number of AI features that will improve the user experience.

In terms of optics, reports suggest the Pixel 10 will be equipped with a 50MP Samsung GN8 wide lens, a 13MP Sony IMX712 ultrawide lens, and an 11MP telephoto lens.

The lens will be used by the selfie camera, guaranteeing that users can take excellent pictures from any perspective.

With this launch Google will be directly competing with other Android device manufacturers such as Samsung, OnePlus, and Motorola.
