Google has confirmed its latest hardware launch event will take place on August 20, where the Pixel 10 series will be showcased. After weeks of rumours, fans of Android phones and Google hardware are excited about this announcement.

There will be multiple new products to showcase, which could range from the Pixel 10 and Pixel Watch 4 to possibly the Pixel Buds 2a.

What to expect from Google Pixel 10 series?

The Pixel 10 series is Google's next generation of smartphones, including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and a foldable device called Pixel 10 Pro Fold. For the first time, all the models will run on the brand-new Tensor G5 chip built by TSMC instead of Samsung.

Camera improvements are expected for macro photography on both the ultra-wide lens and the telephoto lens. Google will also introduce “Pixelsnap” magnetic accessories, which will utilise cases that are different from Apple’s MagSafe cases.

Google's Pixel 9 series enjoyed a clean Android experience and great camera and smart features, but users can find complaints about overheating and battery performance. Google's Pixel 10 indicates they are ready to address those issues.

Google Pixel 10 series launch date

The event date, August 20, matches earlier leaks and shows that most Pixel rumours tend to be accurate. Fans looking for Pixel 10 Pro specs, launch date, and Android 15 updates should mark their calendars.
