The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra may have a larger battery and faster charging capabilities, according to a recent leak that has revealed the device's possible features.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra specifications (rumoured)

Tipster yawn (@chunvn8888) claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to have a 5,500mAh battery, which will be more than the 5,000mAh battery of the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

It is also claimed that the gadget supports 65W fast charging.

A slightly larger display for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, possibly surpassing the 6.9-inch Dynamic LTPO AMOLED 2X screen with QHD+ resolution found in the previous model, is also hinted at in the leak.

Moreover, a custom Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 2 processor produced using TSMC's 3nm process is rumoured to power the device.

Sony claims that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will have a 200-megapixel primary camera. Compared to the camera of the previous generation, this would represent a major improvement.

Interestingly, since its 2020 release, the Galaxy S Ultra series has not seen an increase in battery capacity.

Nevertheless, the devices' effective chipsets and software optimisation have allowed them to maintain a respectable battery life.

A prior report that suggested the Galaxy S26 Ultra would maintain the same battery capacity as its predecessors is contradicted by the leak.

It's still unclear which of the leaks' claims will turn out to be true.

Fans are excited to see what innovations the South Korea-based tech giant has in store, and their expectations are always high for its flagship devices.
