
Apple’s recently unveiled iPhone 16 series is set to offer 45W fast charging via USB-C port, marking an improvement over the previous models, according to certification documents.
The Cupertino-based tech giant has integrated cutting-edge technology in its new lineup which includes the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max.

iPhone 16 fast charging capability
Tipster ShrimpApplePro posted on X (formerly Twitter) that the new iPhone 16 series is capable of charging at 5-15 volts and 3 amperes, meaning 45W fast charging capacity, which is around 50% faster than the iPhone 15 series, will support 27-29W.
Notably, Apple did not officially disclose this upgrade during the “It’s Glowtime” event which took place on September 9.
Now, with the fast charging capabilities based on a 20W USB-C power adapter, iPhone 16 models can charge up to 50% in about 30 minutes.
Additionally, Apple also revealed that the new iPhone 16 models also support upgraded MagSafe charging.
Therefore, with a 30W charger, the iPhones can charge up to 25W via MagSafe, which is an improvement compared to the previous 15W limit.
iPhone 16 lineup price and availability in Pakistan
The prices of the iPhone 16 start at approximately Rs222,721 for 128GB and Rs250,596 for the iPhone 16 Plus. The iPhone 16 Pro costs Rs329,999 for the 128GB variant, Rs369,999 for the 256GB model, and Rs429,999 for the 512GB variant.
The pricing of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is Rs399,999 for the 256GB variant, Rs459,999 for the model with 512GB, while the 1TB model is priced at Rs529,999. All these devices are open for preorders and will start shipping on September 20.
