The development adds to the woes of the Pixel 9 users that are already combatting with various other issues, including a globally decried over Wi-Fi issue which obtained hold of the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro very recently.

Frustrated Pixel 9 Pro XL users taking to Reddit expressed dismay and anger, as "Lean_account", a Redditor, shared an account of his Pixel 9 Pro XL's screen being irresponsive, followed by other Redditors "Mx772" and "dcdttu" sharing reports of the Pixel 9 Pro XL having touchscreen problem.

As demonstrated in the video-based reports, the issue is not with the entire Pixel 9 Pro XL screen, but it rests through the corners of the screen, with a user lamenting to be registering only a single tap on his Pixel 9 Pro XL after making countless attempts to tap on a specific part of the screen.

In other accounts, the device's touch panel registers nothing from the corners but only a brief drag-down run from the top to the halfway of the mid-screen.

Although no official remark has been made from Google in this regard, these reports' comment section on Reddit points to some software issue, which gets temporarily resolved by resetting the Pixel 9 Pro XL.
