
Xiaomi is expected to release a new Ultra variant to the Xiaomi 15 series by the start of 2025, just after the release of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip which is set to debut in October 2024.
The Chinese tech manufacturer is known for being a powerhouse of mobile camera, constantly adding to its Ultra series. Therefore, after the successful launch of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and the Xiaomi 14, the company is gearing up for the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.
While the leaks continue to reveal details about the phone, a new leak from Smartprix, in association with leaker Kartikey, has shared the camera key specifications of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

Xiaomi 15 Ultra camera specs (rumoured)
Xiaomi 15 camera system is likely to get a major upgrade with a revamped Sony LYT-900 sensor. It is expected to feature an improved low-light performance.
However, the most significant feature would be the upgrade in the telephoto department. According to the leak, Xiaomi is expected to introduce a 200MP telephoto camera along with a 10x optical zoom on the 15 Ultra variant, replacing the 50MP periscope telephoto.
Moreover, the phone is rumoured to support an upgraded 50MP selfie camera, as compared to the 32MP snapper on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra other specs
Xiaomi 15 Ultra will also feature a display with a micro-curvature design on all four sides and the screen will have a 2K resolution, featuring an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor for biometrics.
Furthermore, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is likely to be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor along with up to 24GB of RAM, and a HyperOS 2.0-based Android 15. However, the smartphone will come with a 6,200mAh battery.
