The launch of the iPhone 16 series has proved more of a trendsetter than an addition to Apple's flagship iPhone lineup.

Following the debut of the latest iPhone series, Nubia and OPPO disclosed their plans to emulate the integration of a camera key on their Android smartphones.

Now it appears that Realme too has hopped on the bandwagon of following the Apple suit as a Realme executive took to a social media platform and shared a video showcasing a camera button on one of its flagship phones, as reported by Android Authority

Referring to the renders disclosed in the video, the publication mentioned a camera button on a Realme smartphone which allowed the user to swipe it to zoom in or tap to take a picture.

The emulation of an Apple feature isn't the first time Realme is going with it, as the mobile maker reproduced Apple’s Dynamic Island notch to incorporate into its affordable segment of smartphones, and also attempted to rival Apple's MagSafe with its MagDart which turned out to be a botched attempts as it was not fully rolled out.

When taking into account earlier claims from prominent phone makers, it was revealed by Nubia president Ni Fei on Weibo that the imminent Nubia Z70 Ultra would come with a “more realistic” camera button. He elaborated that this is going to be a two-stage key which will allow users to focus with a half-press and capture with a full press.
