
In a groundbreaking development in Pakistan's entrepreneurial landscape, Saad Siddiqui, a 22-year-old startup enthusiast, has been honoured with the BRICS and SCO Social Entrepreneur of the Year 2025 award in Russia.
The awards were organised by the Academy of Youth Diplomacy and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, extending global recognition to individuals with remarkable business ideas across five distinct categories.
Representing Pakistan on a global stage, Siddiqui won Top Entrepreneur, the top honour across all categories.
The young business prodigy is the Founder and CEO of Edversity, a leading ed-tech platform, which has been greatly serving technology education in the country and expanding its services to the Middle East as well.
“Edversity is my vision to make technology education accessible for all, especially in underserved regions of Pakistan. By focusing on affordability and relevance, we are equipping the youth with the skills needed to succeed in a technology-driven world. Winning this award is not just a personal achievement but a recognition of Pakistan’s potential to lead in innovation and entrepreneurship,” he said while reflecting on his journey.
With prestigious awards like the BRICS and SCO, Siddiqui uplifted Pakistan's position as a formidable player in the tech education sectors globally.
He laid the foundations of Edversity to bridge the skills gap in the realm of IT and address the uptick in unemployment in relevant markets.
Edversity offers affordable and accessible education in fields like Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, and Web3, equipping youth with skills essential to outshine the intensifying competition in the global digital economy.
