Pakistanis can now fetch five-year UAE visas, says envoy

Much as a sigh of relief for individuals desperate to leave the country for the sake of better employment opportunities, the UAE’s Ambassador Hamad Obaid Al Zaabi announced on Tuesday that Pakistani nationals can now secure five-year visas for the UAE.

He made the announcement during his visit to Karachi at a meeting with Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori at the Governor House.

The ease in obtaining UAE visas marks a significant step towards improved bilateral ties between the UAE and Pakistan, according to The News.

While acknowledging the deepening of cooperation between the two countries, Tessori lauded the announcement and expressed gratitude for the UAE’s investment in Pakistan. He also acknowledged.

During the meeting, Al Zaabi invited the governor to visit the UAE Visa Centre in Karachi. He assured that the UAE is committed to facilitating Pakistani citizens.

He praised governor Tessori’s ongoing initiatives and expressed the UAE’s continued support for development efforts.

As part of his visit, Ambassador Al Zaabi participated in a plantation campaign by planting a tree at the Governor House and also attended a flag-hoisting ceremony.
