In a significant step, Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has officially announced an exclusive discount for passengers traveling to Saudi Arabia and Gulf countries on the occasion of Independence Day.
According to the PIA’s spokesperson, the national airline will provide a 14% discount on air tickets to passengers traveling on August 14.
It is worth noting that the exclusive discount will apply to domestic, Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries, United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Kuwait tickets, while instructions in this regard have been issued to reservation offices nationwide, including Lahore.
A spokesperson said that a 14% discount will be given on domestic and UAE tickets purchased from August 11 to 17, which will be valid for travel from August 11 to September 30.
The discount will also apply to tickets purchased through the website and mobile app. Nearly 200,000 passengers travel annually from Riyadh to different cities in Pakistan, according to officials.
With PIA’s special discount, the national airline company aims to improve travel convenience and strengthen air connectivity between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Moreover, it will give passengers more direct options, reducing the need for connecting flights.
