Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is set to grow significantly as it extends its flight operations to new locations. Parliamentary Secretary for Defence, Zeb Jaffar, told the National Assembly on Monday.

Jaffar claims that last year, PIA made a net profit of Rs26 billion and an operating profit of Rs9.3 billion. These monetary gains highlight the airline's tenacity and expansion potential.

PIA's new destinations

PIA's expansion plan includes the addition of new routes to Baku, Istanbul, Kuala Lumpur, and the Middle East.

By giving passengers more travel options and improving connectivity between Pakistan and important international destinations, this move is anticipated to strengthen the airline's position in international markets.

An important step in PIA's attempts to revitalise its business and solidify its place in the aviation sector has been the airline's expansion.

PIA is in a strong position to take advantage of new opportunities in the international travel industry with its sights set on new locations and a renewed emphasis on expansion.
